The Platoon

The Platoon is originally from the 1-184 IN (Air Assault) in the Bay Area of California. The members of the platoon were selected by the state of California to back fill the 1-160 IN (Light). As the word spread that soldiers were being pulled other members of the unit started to volunteer to join the platoon for various reasons. When the soldiers were conducting the readiness validation for the deployment the Platoon Leader 1Lt Ferrell worked feverously to ensure that everyone would be together. He ensured that SFC Nunn would be the Platoon Sergeant and that the Squad Leaders would be organic. Now the platoon was not large enough to be a complete COHORT unit so fillers were needed. The Platoon Sergeant diligently pulled members that had been activated through the inactive reserve adding three, another three members joined via internal trades. A new Squad Leader was brought on board from a recruiting position in Bakersfield. With the Squad Leaders: SSG Nievera, SSG Thomson and SSG Baker drawing their Team Leaders and members from the Platoon talent pool we built the "BAD VOODOO" Platoon.
